Everyone knows the big biker rallies. Daytona, Sturgis, Laconia, Myrtle Beach. Hundreds of thousands of bikers load up their bikes (or trailers, RVs, trucks, etc.) and head to these destinations each year. They'll fight traffic, long lines at restaurants, high hotel or camping costs, jacked up beer prices, and sometimes even local government not even wanting them there, in order to spend a week hanging with friends, taking pictures and hopefully, bringing home some good stories to tell.

These are lesser known events which take in pastures, campgrounds, even old airports, all across the country, where 3,000 to 5,000 bikers get together with one purpose... partying. These are the kinds of parties where you bring a chase truck just because you can't fit enough beer on your bike. Where you bring a camera just so you can piece together what the hell went on there when you get home. Where "Wet T-shirt" contests turn into "What T-Shirt?" contests. If you've been to some of these wondrous events, you know what I mean. We've done our research, and here is the Bars4bikers.com list of the Top 10 Biker Rallies in the United States. If your favorite party isn't on this list, you might want to check one of these out.

Held the week before Sturgis each year (This year's event date hasn't been announced). Held by ABATE of Arizona, Too Broke for Sturgis is held at the Mormon Lake Lodge Campground and Arena. The area offers shade, camping with hot showers available, first-class biker entertainment, an assortment of vendors and awesome scenery. They've got bike games, a poker walk, the Miss Too Broke contest and a wet T-shirt contest.

Held the last weekend in June (This year's is June 24th-27th), The Black River Rumble tales place on 60 plus acres of wooded campground, complete with modern bathrooms and hot showers. They even have an indoor bar and dance floor. Activities include

Adult Bike Games, Buff ride on the grounds, Skin to Win Contest, Clothing Optional Private Beach, Burn Out Pits, Vendors, 50/50 Raffles

#8. HogRock River Rally - Southern Illinois

Located on 115 acres near the Ohio River in Southern Illinois, HogRock River Rally is held the second full weekend in June (This year's is June 10th to 13th). Hogrock features live music, WILD contests, vendors, bike games, camping and more.

Milledgeville Thunder Rally is held three times a year; spring, summer and fall. This year's dates are April 23th-25th, June 11th-13th and October 1st-3rd. Activities include live bands, vendors, poker run, bike show, bike games, puddin' rasslin' (a must see) contests and much more.

#6. Deep Woods Rally - Cameron, OK

The Deep Woods Rally is held in Eastern Oklahoma on 110 acres of private land (This year's is July 23rd-25th). Activities include contests, live entertainment, games, novelties, good food and cold beer. It's also one of the cheapest rallies at $25 per person for the weekend.

#5. Bean Blossom Boogie - Springville, IN

Held on the 3rd weekend of July (This year's is July 15th-18th), the ABATE of Indiana Bean Blossom Boogie is one of the top bike fests in the Midwest. Activities include an arm wrestling contest, swap meet, ride-in bike show, contests and live entertainment (Eddie Money and Asia are playing this year). Don't let the tame ABATE website fool you. This is a wild time.

Held the second weekend in May (May 7th and 8th), This will be the fifth Old School Biker Rodeo (also known as the Party in the Pasture. By far the least expensive on the list (only 10 bucks for the weekend), this party, run by scootergoods.com, this party features bike games, adult games, live music and other craziness.

#3. June Bug Boogie - Cookeville, TN

The Junebug Boogie is held twice a year, June and September (This year is June 17th-20st and September 23th-26th). Located behind Scooters and Hooters bar, these rallies feature lots of live music, comedy acts, biker games, shaving cream wrestling, wild contests and much, much more. Also, they have free hot showers and free firewood, while it lasts. No extra fees for RVs , chase vehicles, etc.

#2. Roscoe's Chili Challenge - Lakeland, FL

For over 23 years, Roscoe's Chili Challenge has been the premier biker party in the state of Florida. Located between Tampa and Orlando, this 3 day party features biker games, wild nighttime events, lots of live music, breast painting, vendors, and a chili making contest. Held the 1st full weekend of November (this year is November 5th-7th), it's one of the last events of the year, and is definitely one of the greatest you'll ever go to. #1. Bama Bike Fest - Forkland, AL

Held several times a year (The next official one is March 11th-14th), the Bama Bike Fest is (in our opinion) the premier biker rally in the United States. With daily wet t-shirt contests, biker games for singles and couples, bike shows, crazy contests (Topless Hula Hoops), lots of live entertainment, vendors and no extra fees for vehicles, it's 3 days of wildness that you won't believe. They even have a bar onsite in case you run low. Check out Bama Bikefest in March, July or October. You'll have stories to tell about it for years!
