Motorcycle Laws In Delaware
Safety Helmet § 4185. Riding on motorcycles(b) Every person operating or riding on a motorcycle shall have in that person's possession a safety helmet approved by the Secretary of Safety and Homeland Security (hereinafter "Secretary") through the Office of Highway Safety and shall wear eye protection approved by the Secretary; provided, however, that every person up to 19 years of age operating or riding on a motorcycle shall wear a safety helmet and eye protection approved by the Secretary.

Allowable Noise Levels): 1) Highway Operation less than 35mph--78-80dba; 2) Highway Operation above 35mph--82-84dba; 3)Stationary at 50ft 78-80dba; 4)Stationary at 20"--95dba.
State Insurance Requirements Compulsory Liability (Minimum Limits)(15/30/10) - Insurance discount available for 3 years following completion of rider education program.
